17. Drill a hole inside your trash can for easier bag removal
Taking out the trash is nobody's favorite chore. Removing a stuck bag often leads to tears or a ripped liner. To solve this, drill a small hole on the side of the can (not the bottom). This lets air in, breaking the suction, so the bag comes out smoothly. If anything leaks, the plastic base still contains it.
