Polishing Silver
Line a bucket or bowl with aluminum foil, ensuring the shiny side faces up. Place the silver items you wish to polish inside, then fill the container with 3.5 liters of boiling water and add 50 grams of washing soda or baking soda. Let the silver soak for about 15 minutes. The tarnish that has dulled your silverware will be drawn to the foil, making it much easier to clean.
