Start with the gentlest approach
This advice applies to any cleaning task at home: always begin with the least aggressive method. Opt for mild, natural solutions first before turning to bleach, chlorine, or other harsh chemicals. Even vinegar, which is highly acidic, can damage grout and strip the protective coating from tiles. In many cases, hot water and a brush are sufficient. If that doesn't do the trick, you can move on to the next technique.
