Renovation Work
The traveling couple converted the truck entirely by themselves. According to Iona's Facebook page, the exterior was the hardest part. They aimed to make it look like a real campervan, not just a truck with windows. They succeeded, as the truck looks modern and stylish inside and out. The whole transformation reportedly cost £20,000 (€22,500). By doing all the work themselves, Iona and Martin saved money, though they still had to buy insulation, flooring, furniture, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
