2. Keep Your Hair Damp
Cutting dry hair is much trickier than cutting damp hair. Dry strands are more likely to result in an uneven cut. It's best to wash your hair right before trimming and then towel-dry it. If you don't want to wash your hair, use a spray bottle (like the pros do) to moisten it. Continue spritzing as you cut to keep your hair damp throughout the process.
