E-Bikes Are Not Lazy: Research Finds They Work 'Almost as Well as Medication'

These riders, who often find traditional exercise challenging, were much more consistent with e-biking. On average, they rode 135 minutes per week—enough to reduce the risk of heart attacks, cancer, and diabetes by 20 to 40 percent. Professor Tegtbur describes the health impact as "almost as good as medication."
