3. Green or Black Tea
Both green and black tea possess soothing properties that calm the skin and help diminish swelling. Steep two tea bags in a cup of hot water for about a minute, then refrigerate them for half an hour. Place the chilled tea bags over your eyes for 15 minutes. Alternatively, brew green tea, pour it into an ice cube tray, and freeze. Once solid, wrap a tea ice cube in a cloth and gently apply it under your eyes for a few minutes.
