3. Warm Liquid
If you have a cup of hot coffee or tea, dip your key into the liquid to heat the metal. Wipe the key dry before inserting it into the lock. The heat will melt the ice. At home, you can also use hot water. But remember: always dry the key first, or the moisture may refreeze inside the lock.
