Toss it. This is one item many people neglect to replace. Most households keep the same toilet brush far too long, and it’s much dirtier than you imagine. Be sure to disinfect your toilet brush with bleach frequently and swap it for a new one at least once a year. If you don’t use bleach, replace it every six months to prevent the growth of bacteria that could cause illness.
