Germany: One in Four Smokes
Germany has a strong tobacco industry, which employs about 7,500 people. A small pack costs around 7.20 euros ($8.15). Nearly 24% of Germans smoke occasionally, contributing to annual tobacco tax revenue of 15 billion euros ($17 billion).
