
Antiseptic Aroma for a Calmer Mind
Lemons release antiseptic compounds into the air, which can positively affect your mental state. The scent helps reduce feelings of depression and anxiety, fostering a more serene environment. To try this, you'll need a few lemons. Slice off the top of one lemon and set it upright with the cut side facing up. Using a sharp knife, make two perpendicular cuts into the top of the fruit, similar to the image above. Be careful not to cut all the way through. Place the lemon in a small bowl beside your bed and let the aroma spread. For even better results, place a bowl with a sliced lemon in each corner of the room.
