What is the correct method for hand disinfection?
First, press the pump of the hand sanitizer—using your elbow if possible. If that's not an option, be sure to carefully disinfect the fingertips you used to press the pump. To achieve full disinfection, rub your hands together for 30 seconds. Don't forget the backs of your hands and the spaces between your fingers. Having trouble timing 30 seconds? Sing "Happy Birthday" three times, and your hands will be sanitized!
