3. Micropsia
Micropsia, also known as Alice in Wonderland syndrome, causes patients to perceive objects as much smaller than they actually are. This happens because the brain misinterprets visual input from the eyes. It often occurs in low-visibility conditions (such as darkness) or during migraine attacks. The condition is most common in children aged 5 to 10. Micropsia can also affect other senses, including hearing and touch.
