“When tensions with North Korea escalated, I became really scared,” Natasha later recounted to NBC. “He said goodbye to me. At that point, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I wanted to tell him, but I froze. I kept my composure and decided to wait a little longer.” Due to the volatile situation, his mission was extended by 30 days. But at last, the day came for him to return home.
