Never Let Onions Go Bad Again with This Simple Freezing Method

Freezing

The trick? Freezing your onions! Although the fridge doesn’t do them a lot of good, you can freeze them perfectly fine. Now, we don’t recommend dumping entire onions in your freezer. Slice them up, put them in a resealable bag and you’ll be able to keep them in your freezer for up to six months. Cut up the onion and put the pieces in a freezer baggy. Try to push out as much air from the bag as possible before closing it. Also, try to divide the pieces of onion over the bag as much as possible, so you’ve got a single layer of onion. Freeze the bag like this and use the onion within six months.
