By placing a plastic bottle in your toilet tank, you displace water so the tank fills faster and uses less water per flush. Experiment with bottle sizes—start with a 1-liter bottle, and if the flush works well, you can even add a 500ml bottle. Just ensure the bottles don't interfere with the flushing mechanism.
