How to do it:
- Heat the vinegar in the microwave or on the stove. It doesn't need to be boiling—just warm to the touch. Don't let it get too hot, as you need to handle it with bare hands.
- Using a funnel or a measuring cup with a spout, pour equal parts vinegar and dish soap into a spray bottle.
- Don't shake the bottle; instead, gently roll it between your hands to mix the ingredients.
- Spray the mixture generously onto the surfaces you want to clean: doors, tiles, floor, taps—you name it! Don't be shy; coat everything thoroughly.
- Use a sponge to rub the cleaner in, then wait at least 30 minutes for it to work. The warm vinegar combined with dish soap will lift grime and limescale from your shower.
- After 30 minutes, rinse the shower with cold water. If the grime is very old, you may need to repeat the process and scrub a bit more with a sponge.
