Leather and Faux Leather
To clean leather shoes, mix cold water with white vinegar. Use an old cloth to wipe the shoes with this solution. The vinegar removes stains and makes scratches disappear. Let the shoes dry completely after cleaning. If there are scuff marks, apply shoe polish following the package instructions. If you can't find shoe polish in the same color, you can make your own: dampen an old cloth, dip it in baking soda, and gently rub the leather. Then wipe the shoe clean with a fresh cloth.
