How to Do It
Start by thoroughly cleaning your sink with soapy water and a dishcloth. Alternatively, use a spray bottle with a cleaning agent—just make sure the sink is clean. Dry it completely! Any leftover water will turn the flour into a paste, which you want to avoid. Use a clean, dry tea towel to dry the sink, including the edges and drain. Then, sprinkle flour over the sink to cover the surface as much as possible. Use a paper towel to rub the flour into the sink, using circular motions. Don’t forget the edges, corners, faucet, and drain. When finished, wipe away the flour (do not rinse it down the drain!). Your sink will be perfectly shiny. Repeat this once a month.
