Here is a list of things you should never pack in your suitcase:

• Bathrobes and towels: These are often incredibly soft and tempting, but hotels expect them to stay in the room.
• Bible: Typically found in the nightstand, it is meant for all guests to use and should remain.
• Hairdryer: Many hotels offer hairdryers for a deposit; taking one could cost you. Some are even bolted to the wall to prevent removal.
• Clock: Obvious as it may be, the wall clock must stay put.
• Radio: Similarly, the radio is not a complimentary gift.
