A way out
The wall Cindy was leaning against was of poor quality, damaged and weakened over the years. As she leaned, that section gave way, and she fell through into the restaurant hallway. No one saw her fall because it was a secluded area mostly used by waitstaff. Cindy couldn't believe her luck.
