3. Ensure It's Level
It's crucial that your washing machine sits perfectly level. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibrations that may damage your flooring and lead to premature wear of internal components such as the tub bearings and shock absorbers. To check, place a level on top of the machine and adjust the feet until it's completely level. If adjustment isn't enough, consider placing a piece of plywood larger than the machine underneath to help absorb vibrations.
