How to Clean Carpets with White Vinegar
You might be surprised, but vinegar is excellent for carpet care. If your carpet has developed an unpleasant odor, you can refresh it with this mixture: combine 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, and 2 cups warm water in a spray bottle, then spritz onto the carpet. For stain removal, mix equal parts vinegar and water (½ cup each), apply to the stain, let it soak briefly, then blot with a cloth—avoid rubbing, as that can spread the stain.
