Choosing the wrong checkout lane
It happens to almost everyone: you pick a checkout line, and it turns out to be the slowest one. Meanwhile, every other lane seems to move faster, and of course, the customer in front of you has an issue. Getting angry or frustrated won't help. The solution? Simply distract yourself. It may feel like you always end up in the longest queue, but that's rarely true. Focus on something else, and you'll stay much calmer.
